Micropress has launched a new online print platform, Press Print, following around a year of development.

The platform is designed to make it easier for customers to order stitched and bound print products online, with a focus on simplicity, speed, and quality. Press Print concentrates on brochures, catalogues, and magazines – a category Micropress says represents a significant and growing share of online print demand.

According to Joint managing director Rob Cross, the decision to keep the product range deliberately focused reflects both market opportunity and the company’s manufacturing strengths.

“Although we have kept the product range relatively narrow by focusing on stitched and bound products, this is a huge area of opportunity,” said Mr Cross. “It covers a vast range of print that is currently placed online, so there is a significant market for us to serve.”

He added that this approach allows Micropress to compete confidently in the online space while maintaining fast turnaround times and high production standards.

“These are areas where we are particularly strong in production, which means we can enter this space confidently, remain highly competitive, and offer fast turnaround times while maintaining the highest quality standards,” he said.

Press Print offers a wide range of paper stocks and bespoke size options, which Micropress believes gives the platform a clear point of differentiation in the market. The website allows customers to price jobs, upload artwork, and place orders online in a streamlined process designed to minimise complexity and speed up ordering, the company said.
