Heidelberg has announced the availability of the new Jetfire 75, with customers now able to place orders with immediate effect.

The Jetfire 75 is an inkjet press in B2+ format (614mm x 750mm) that is fully embedded in the Heidelberg digital ecosystem, which encompasses machines, software, consumables, service, and training. Postpress solutions are also to be incorporated.

The Jetfire 75 offers users the best possible print quality, maximum flexibility, and a level of productivity that has never been seen before in digital printing, according to Heidelberg.

“Following on from the successful market launch of the Jetfire 50, we are sending out a clear signal with the Jetfire 75, namely that Heidelberg is shaping the future of digital industrial print production and taking it to a whole new level,” said Dr David Schmedding, chief technology and sales officer at Heidelberg. “We are combining the strengths of our sheetfed offset printing presses with innovative digital printing solutions to create a hybrid production environment that offers our customers maximum flexibility and efficiency.”

The Jetfire 75 integrates into print workflows via Prinect Production and the new Prinect Touch Free system, enabling cost-efficient hybrid production. Using AI and real-time data, Prinect Touch Free automatically selects the most cost-effective digital or offset print method, while Heidelberg’s colour management ensures consistent colour across both. With full automation, the Jetfire 75 can process over 1000 jobs per day, stated the company. The workflow is now being launched, with Jetfire 50 and 75 customers receiving Prinect Touch Free upon installation.

Jürgen Otto, CEO of Heidelberg, commented: “By launching the Jetfire 75, Heidelberg is underscoring its approach as a comprehensive systems integrator in the printing sector – an approach that helps our customers become more profitable and more competitive. This is another milestone in the growth strategy for our core business, and one that will enable Heidelberg to leverage additional business potential.”

The company added that from summer 2026, the press will be available for customer demonstrations at its “Home of Print” at its Wiesloch-Walldorf, Germany, site. It also confirmed that the first presses are to be installed starting in fall 2026, with the company planning to roll the press out in core markets such as Germany, Switzerland, the UK, Canada, and the USA.
