Fujifilm Europe has announced two new server-less applications for its Apeos multifunction printer (MFP) range. The tools are designed to deliver secure, flexible, and cost-effective document management for SMEs across Europe.
The new systems – Server-less On-Demand Print and Server-less Authentication – remove the need for a dedicated print or authentication server, simplifying secure printing and user access. Both are now available in the UK, France, Italy, Spain, Poland, the Netherlands and Slovenia.
Server-less On-Demand Print allows users to release stored print jobs from any linked device, helping avoid bottlenecks and unnecessary printing. Server-less Authentication enables shared user information for smart card-based authentication across multiple devices, allowing secure access without a central server.
Matthew Wrighton, head of the Device Technology division at Fujifilm Europe, said: “In support of our award-winning range of Apeos MFP devices, we’re delighted to offer Fujifilm’s Server-less On-Demand Print and Server-less Authentication to European customers. For SMEs who need flexible, low-cost, but reliable device security, it offers the ideal solution.”
The new server-less applications are part of Fujifilm’s continued expansion into secure and sustainable office print technologies, building on the Apeos range’s emphasis on digital transformation, reliability and workplace efficiency.
