The Printing Charity has announced that tickets are now on sale for its 196th Annual Luncheon, one of the sector’s most anticipated networking events. This year’s gathering will take place on Thursday 13 November at a new, larger venue – Plaisterers’ Hall in the City of London. Former Prime Minister and current Printing Charity President, Baroness Theresa May, is confirmed as keynote speaker.

Neil Lovell, CEO of the Printing Charity, said: “We’re really proud to host this annual event to bring people in our industry together, to provide a forum to share the current opportunities and challenges facing the sector, as well as to celebrate industry successes, and the impact that the Printing Charity has had supporting people since the start of the year.”

He added that the move to a larger venue comes in response to rising demand, with previous events oversubscribed. “We also recognise that more people will wish to come to hear from the former Prime Minister as our keynote speaker, and very much look forward to hearing what she has to say.”

The event will begin with a drinks reception at midday, followed by a three-course lunch with wine and coffee, concluding by 3.30pm. Tickets are priced at £125 and include canapés and petit fours.

The Luncheon will also celebrate the expansion of the charity’s 24/7 helpline, which now supports individuals in nearly 500 businesses across the print and allied trades.
