VB Media has announced that its print e-commerce platform now supports direct integration with Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, and ShopVox. The upgrade enables customers to streamline order processing and accountancy workflows.
Available to customers on the Pro tier, the new integrations allow data from orders placed on a print service provider’s website to be shared instantly with existing accounting or business management systems via API. This reduces duplication, eliminates the need to re-enter customer details, and provides real-time access to order status and payment history. If a customer has ordered offline before but not via the website, they can be matched automatically within the PSP’s existing system.
The integrations build on VB Media’s existing order management functionality, which supports job allocation to in-house or outsourced production, alerts for missing artwork, and a dashboard view of account activity. All development has been handled internally at source-code level, meaning future updates will be carried out by VB Media directly, avoiding reliance on third-party plug-ins.
Wayne Bodimeade, director at VB Media, said: “We spend a lot of time talking to printers, and it is clear that many are increasingly looking to their software to reduce administrative elements of their workload and free them up to focus on tasks that deliver real value.”
Fellow director Gavin De Boos added: “We originally designed the VB Media system to be a cost-effective and user-friendly solution that enables printers to get their business online without a heavy time investment. These integrations enable them to build on that further, saving them time and freeing them up to sell more print.”
VB Media serves printers, designers and copy shops across the UK with an e-commerce platform that supports B2B, B2C and trade storefronts and offers integration with major UK trade suppliers.
