CMYUK and Esko are celebrating a “fantastic” first year of collaboration in the UK signs and graphics market by opening a remodelled demonstration and training facility in Shrewsbury.

The new demo centre and showroom officially opens in January 2018 and will house the full range of Kongsberg cutters, allowing visitors to view complete signage production from automated file preparation to print and cutting.

Commenting on the opening of the new demo centre, and the collaboration between the companies, Nick Reed, Esko business manager for CMYUK, said, ‘It’s been a real whirlwind. The new and exciting products we’ve been able to offer our customers – not just the Kongsberg digital cutters, but the range of complementary software products – has helped us to automate workflows better than we could have imagined.’

James Mason, sales manager at Esko UK, commented, ‘I have been thrilled to see how quickly the guys at CMYUK have got up to speed with the Kongsberg range. It’s not just about having a best-in-class cutting table, it’s about how we can add value for our customers.’
